I like to leaf through a book before buying it. Unfortunately, while I live a mile from a great canoeing river, I live at least 50 miles from the closest bookstore. When I go down to Ann Arbor, I'll spend a couple hours at the book store. Most of the books on my amazon wish list are there from seeing them in the bookstore, or reading interesting reviews of the books. I have to agree. I like to leaf through a book before buying it.
