PHP first impressions from a J2EE programmer

I ran across Cedric Otaku’s blog entry about his first impressions working with PHP as an experienced Java programmer. Not surprisingly, he chose PHP partly because it was already available on his ISP.

Upgraded to WordPress 1.5

Well, I upgraded to WordPress 1.5 today. Everything seems to have gone well. The upgrade from 1.2 to 1.5 was much less error prone than the upgrade from 1.02 to 1.2. The upgrade process is very well done. My BBCode plugin seems to work without modification (so far).
